Ocean Beaches

Some of the best beaches in the world can be found on Gran Canaria Island in the Canaries.  They range from the lively beaches in Las Palmas and Maspalomas to small secluded beaches hidden in tiny coves around the island.

Las Canteras beach in Las Palmas and Playa del Ingles in Maspalomas are most certainly the best known beaches on the island.

If, you are looking for something quieter, check out the gorgeous beach at Güigüi.  The most popular beaches can be found between Tarajalillo and Mogán at the south of Gran Canaria.

Regardless of when you visit the Canary Islands, you are guaranteed to bathe in warm ocean water that ranges from a low of 18ºC during winter months to about 22ºC at other times of the year.
